We’re Here to Help You Create Something Meaningful

Please reach us at info@pressedmemories.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Of course, at Pressed Memories, we understand how much you have going on during this difficult time.

The most urgent part of the process is receiving the flowers as soon as possible. For the best results, we require the flowers to be as fresh as possible. The rest of the process is completed with great care and patience — we never rush when creating your loved one’s memorial.

To ensure your flowers arrive in the best possible condition, follow these tips:

  1. Choose fresh, sturdy blooms – Flowers that are hardy and less delicate tend to survive shipping better (e.g., roses, lilies, orchids). Avoid fully open or fragile blooms.
  2. Pack carefully – Use a sturdy box with padding around the stems. Make sure flowers aren’t crushed or bent. Bubble wrap or crumpled paper works well to protect petals and stems.
  3. Keep them cool – Shipping flowers in warm conditions can cause wilting. If possible, include a small ice pack (well-wrapped to avoid moisture on the petals).
  4. Use a fast courier service – Overnight or express shipping is recommended to minimize the time flowers are in transit.
  5. Label clearly – Include your contact information and note that the contents are delicate flowers.
  6. Timing matters – Try to avoid weekends or public holidays when the flowers may sit in a depot.

Tip: We recommend sending flowers directly to Pressed Memories at the start of your order so we can begin the drying and preservation process immediately. Full details of where to send the flowers will be provided to you upon order of your pressed memorial.

The primary and most important difference between them is exactly how many ashes they can hold. While both function as beautiful, illuminated keepsakes, they are built to accommodate two completely different volumes of ashes:

  • The Solace Memorial is designed as a partial keepsake. It features a smaller, integrated compartment meant to hold just a portion or a token amount of the ashes (perfect if family members are splitting the ashes or if you are scattering the rest). [1]
  • The Eternal Memorial is designed as a full-size urn alternative. It is specifically engineered with a much larger interior capacity, allowing it to hold the entirety (or the vast majority) of a standard adult's ashes securely inside the unit.

So, your choice really comes down to whether you want to preserve just a small part of the ashes or the whole amount in one single place.

We will provide all shipping instructions, including the delivery address for your flowers and/or ashes, once your order is complete.

Because each piece is unique, the total timeframe will vary depending on demand. When you place your order, we’ll provide an estimated completion date and keep you updated throughout the process so you can follow the progress of your memorial.

Each Pressed Memories memorial is handcrafted with care, so the process takes time to ensure the highest quality.

From start to finish, your memorial goes through several stages:

  • Receiving the flowers – We begin with the blooms you provide. If you are outside of Sydney, we recommend overnight express shipping.
  • Drying the flowers – This process takes approximately 7–14 days to preserve their shape and colour.
  • Creating the arrangement & inscriptions – We carefully design the layout and add any personalised details you’ve requested.
  • Resin pouring & curing – This final stage can take several weeks to ensure a flawless, long-lasting finish.

At this time, pre-orders are expected to be completed within approximately 3 Months

That’s perfectly fine. We have a collection of beautiful pre-made memorials available; however, for a custom memorial, we can also incorporate some of their favourite flowers or a meaningful keepsake.

The ashes are securely stored within the wooden Light Box, which is firmly fastened with screws.

We are always happy to celebrate life and preserve memories, we are of course happy to accomodate any special life events.

For a collection of cremated remains please contact us directly as we will need a letter of authority.

We offer three types of memorials, designed to suit different needs:

  • Eternal Memorial – Features a base designed to hold a full set of adult cremated remains.
  • Solace Memorial – Features a base ideal for holding a half set or smaller portion of cremated remains.
  • Custom Memorial (or No Base) – Created for burials or when no ashes are included, focusing on beautifully preserving flowers and meaningful memories.

Each memorial is handcrafted with the same level of care and attention, creating a personal and lasting tribute to your loved one.

Yes, of course! We understand that pets are family, and losing them can be just as profound. That’s why we offer the same handcrafted memorials for pets — to honour their life, personality, and the joy they brought to your home.
