About Pressed Memories

Elegant floral logo with the text 'Pressed Memories'.

WHAT WE DO

We create bespoke memorials that preserve the memory of your loved one through carefully selected flowers cast in resin and cremation ashes housed by a patented wooden light box.

Each piece is thoughtfully handcrafted to honour a life beautifully lived, combining timeless design with deep personal meaning.

Unlike a traditional urn that might sit tucked away in a cupboard or feel somber on a shelf, this functions as beautiful ambient lighting. It allows you to display a loved one's memory as a bright, vibrant, and comforting piece of home decor.

Our memorials are available in two sizes, to suit everyone preferences — The Solace and The Eternal.

Every memorial includes:

  • A handcrafted wooden light base designed to gently illuminate the piece
  • A hidden compartment within the base to hold  your loved ones ashes
  • A beautifully designed resin display containing preserved flowers and meaningful elements

Together, these elements create a lasting tribute that brings warmth, comfort, and connection into the home.

A Message from the Owner

I’m Abby, the creator of Pressed Memories.

If you’re here, it’s likely you’re going through one of the most profound and difficult experiences in life;

Maybe you’re preparing for what’s to come.
Maybe you’ve just received the news.
Maybe the funeral has just passed.

Or maybe it’s been years, and you’re still searching for something that feels right.

For me, this journey began when I was 18 and working in the funeral industry. Around that same time, I lost my mum after a short battle with cancer. Like so many others, I was suddenly faced with decisions I wasn’t ready to make.

Even with my experience in the industry, I couldn’t find comfort in placing her in something generic — something mass-produced, impersonal, and disconnected from who she was. I didn’t want something that would be tucked away in a cupboard. I wanted her presence to still be felt in my home.

I wanted something that didn’t represent loss, but instead reflected life. So I poured everything I had into creating something that felt worthy of her — something that held meaning, beauty, and a quiet reflective presence.

And that’s how Pressed Memories began.

I have found comfort in knowing I carry a piece of her with me — that she can still exist quietly in the background of my life. My siblings come over and are reminded of her impact on them. My father reflects on their 40-year marriage. The Pressed Memorial became a shared memorial for our shared grief.

Today, we create memorials with that same care and empathy for every family, and I hope you too can find solace in these creations.

With love and my sincere condolences,
Abby Brooks
